Without a College Degree

Many people in today's economy are asking, are there any high paying jobs out there for me without having a college degree? Well, if you were raised like I was, the typical answer would be no. You see, I was taught growing up that in order to be successful you had to go to college, get a degree, and then you could get a good job.
In this day and age this just simply isn't true, in fact there are no guarantees, with or without a college degree. Sure, there are some professions that require a degree, such as a doctor or lawyer, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for those that achieve it. But, did you know that many of the most successful entrepreneurs became successful without even going to college? These are people with vision and the courage to go where others fear to tread.
You see, entrepreneurs pay close attention to trends, and then position themselves in front of them. Two of the biggest trends in the world are in the area of technology and the internet. Everyday millions of people are flooding the search engines looking for ways to make money. Do you think that if you positioned yourself in front of a million people with a valuable solution to their problem that you could stand to make A LOT of money?
The way to achieve success is to align yourself with people that are already successful at doing what it is that you want to do. You need to find a mentor that is willing to train you in new skills that are a fit with the emerging new economy. You want to be in business for yourself but not by yourself.
The next thing you want is a duplicate able business model, a system that is proven to get results, like a franchise. Why do you think McDonalds is so successful? They sell a system, I mean teenagers run McDonalds right, do they make a good cheeseburger? NO. A solid business system is designed to take the human error element out of the equation and get solid results.
